Richard and Donald Rheem, two brothers, are the owners of Rheem Manufacturing Company, who launched their firm in 1925. They had the vision to manufacture water heaters that were more efficient and durable than what was currently available on the market which they fulfilled.
In the early years, Rheem focused more on developing innovative water heating technologies, such as the glass-lined tank still used in modern water heaters. In the 1930s, the company expanded its product line to include space heating and air conditioning systems.

Rheem continued to innovate and expand its product line, introducing new technologies such as tankless water heaters, solar water heaters, and hybrid electric heat pump water heaters according to the needs of consumers and businesses worldwide.

Today, they are one of the top global leaders in manufacturing hot water systems and other heating and cooling products, with operations in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
